All nutritional information listed for each product/meal is an estimate/approximation and can vary based on small differences in serving size, and variation in the quality of ingredients from dish to dish. Clean Plates reserves the right to select/change previously selected meals to any order based on availability. If you selected the Anything Plan you will need to log in and select meals on your own before the cut off times. No refunds will be given for meals that have been auto-selected with this plan.
All Clean Plates meals are prepared in a facility that contains nuts, wheat, egg, soy, and dairy.
Clean Plates makes every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies. Every effort is made to instruct our food production staff on the severity of food allergies. In addition, we label items with possible allergen-containing ingredients; however, there is always a risk of contamination. There is also a possibility that manufacturers of the commercial foods we use could change the formulation at any time, without notice. Customers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk. Please be aware that our facility prepares foods and uses ingredients in our products that contain nuts, wheat, dairy, soy and egg.
Eating raw or undercooked meat, poultry, eggs, or seafood poses a health risk to everyone, but especially to the elderly, young children under age 4, pregnant women and other highly susceptible individuals with compromised immune systems. The cooking of such animal foods reduces the risk of illness. There is a risk associated with consuming raw or undercooked foods such as meat, poultry, or seafood products. If you have chronic illness of the liver, stomach, blood, or have immune disorders, you are at greater risk of illness from raw oysters and should eat oysters fully cooked. If unsure, consult your physician.
Be sure the storage temperature is consistently 40° F or below when storing the meals. Refrigerate perishables meals within 30 minutes of pickup or delivery. When reheating food, make sure its cooked to a internal temperature of at least 165°F.
REFUND POLICY REFUND POLICY Given the perishable nature of our products, all Clean Plates orders are non-refundable. Refunds will not be awarded for any order due to randomized meal selection, as it is the customer’s responsibility to choose their preferred meals for each pickup or delivery date. If you wish to pause or cancel your order for any reason, please notify Clean Plates before the order cut off times. To cancel/pause a Sunday/Monday delivery/pickup, please notify us by the Thursday before by 5pm. If you wish to cancel/pause a Wednesday/Thursday delivery/pickup please notify us by the Sunday before by 5pm. Refunds are in the form of Clean Plates dollars and will be applied to your digital wallet for use towards future purchases. COOLER BAG DISCLAIMER In order to keep costs down and to do our part for the environment, Clean Plates reuses our cooler bags. It is the customers responsibility to leave the cooler bags at your door for our drivers to collect. We will clean and sanitize the bags to use for your next delivery. If a cooler bag is left at your address it must be returned on your next scheduled delivery. If you do not return your cooler bag(s), and/or if you have more than 2 bags that have not been returned during your subscription period, Clean Plates will automatically charge a Refundable Bag Deposit fee of $10 per bag. This fee will be refunded once the cooler bags have successfully been returned. If the cooler bags are not returned within two weeks of their original delivery date, then you will forfeit your refund for those bags. If you are receiving your last delivery or if you have a meal pack delivery and you do not leave a cooler with ice at your door for your meals to be placed inside which requires our driver to leave a cooler bag behind, it will be your responsibility to return the cooler bag to our Ferndale Location at 149 W Nine Mile, Ferndale. This will also result in an automatic $10.00 refundable cooler bag fee to your credit card which will be refunded if the cooler bags is returned within two weeks of the original order delivery date.
